The best thing you can do for yourself is just get started with your strength training journey.

Pushups and lunges are a great way to build lean muscle mass and tone your body without any equipment. The basic-level and inexpensive equipment that you can use are kettlebells, resistance bands and dumbbells. Warm-ups are a vital part of the weight-training program as it helps increase blood flow to the muscles and prepares them for the workout.

If this is your first time lifting weights, consider starting off with a certified personal trainer to build your confidence and perfect the safe and proper posture.
