I am told that I don't sugar coat things and keep it real.

My life may appear to be perfect:

I exercise, go out, run a business, but I don't deny that I do have my fair share of bad days.

It takes a lot of work to run your own business.

I spend a lot of time creating workouts, training clients and myself, and maintaining my relationships.

Time is a commodity in my life and like you, I only have 24/7 to get everything done.

That is why my health and fitness is a HUGE priority in my life.

It’s a part of who I am and it allows me to show up at my work for my clients, my relationships, and myself as well as for my future self.

That being said, I’m going to answer the question that I get almost every single week in the most honest way I can.

"Hi Mo, I want to start working out but I have no time. Any advice?”

My answer? MAKE TIME, yes it is that simple.

HOW TO MAKE FITNESS A PRIORITY

1. ROUTINE IS EVERYTHING My morning routine starts with getting out of bed and drinking water, then stretching. Mornings are my most productive times, so I usually do some work before going to the gym. Here's what works for me, I'm not saying you have to do the same. That's what keeps me motivated and consistent. I follow a routine. Make a choice that fits your schedule and stick to it. This leads me to my next point… 2. NOT A CHOICE Exercise shouldn't be a choice or something you decide on every day. Just as eating and sleeping aren't choices, so too, should exercise be. In the moment you see it as something you have to do, all of a sudden that conversation starts to change from "I don't have time to do that today" to "Let's make the time today.". Obviously, there will be days with unplanned events that make it impossible to exercise, but if you see exercise as a routine and not as an option, you'll be more apt to stick with it.

3. FIND YOUR FAVOURITE WORKOUT Choosing workouts you are passionate about is another important factor in keeping yourself fit. Thankfully, there are a lot of different options to choose from. 4. ACCOUNTABILITY Why do you think I created the Monthly Workout Program? There’s nothing more exciting than finding a community of people who have similar goals. Don't be afraid to introduce yourself! It can be intimidating, but if you don't try, you won't know! By participating in these fitness communities, you will be held accountable. Whether you need some extra motivation or want to share your latest sucess, there are tons of people that will be there to help you out and cheer you on.

LAST BUT NOT LEAST: Find your WHY It's so important to find your why because it's what gets you out of bed on hard days. Ultimately, what is going to drive you to always be your best is the why.

What’s your WHY?
